I have been recently trying to boot the Mac OS X using virtualbox, as seen in a video tutorial.
However, when it comes to the step of selecting the version, only two options show for me. 32 bit, and 10.6 snow-leopard 32 bit. According to the video, I should be selecting 64 bit, but I literally can't.
Proceeding with the same steps anyway brings me an error during the attempted boot up. 'Bad magic number'. The only disk images I could find were 64 bit ones, and they appear to be incompatible with the version virtualbox is letting me run. So I guess my main question is: Why can't I select 64 bit Mac OS X in the creation menu?
